Steam, Half-Life And The High Definition Model Pack

If you have Half-Life, Opposing Force, and/or Blue Shift, and you install them via steam, you are probably missing out on the High Definition Model Pack.

The High Definition Model Pack originally released with the Half-Life Blue Shift expansion. It dramatically improved some of the character models used in all the Half-Life 1 games:


It is not enabled in the Steam installations of the Half-Life 1 games.

Free Online Vector Art Converter

Stanford University now has a website that converts images to vector graphics. Take a look at this sample.


Vector art can do a couple of things for you - first, it can remove jaggies from clipart, and it also allows you to resize logos and some types of images without introducing jaggies or other artifacts.

Be sure to check out the site. it is great, and it allows you to directly save as eps or svg files.
