I recently got a HDTV, and was super excited to run it via HDMI at full 1080p.
The problem is that once I did that, I got no audio (as thoroughly discussed here)
I was able to work around this by using the audio out from a microsoft official 360 HD kit, which I picked up from a local used gaming store for a few bucks. Luckily my TV has a nice option to allow a different audio input on HDMI channel 1.
It looks like Microsoft has released an update that should fix this today.
I will post with results once I apply the fix.
