When I first got up on Ubuntu, I noticed that some web pages just didn't look quite "right". Layouts of certain pages, like TV.com just did not quite line up correctly, and fonts on my blog didn't match the ones I had specified.
It turns out that many fonts - like Arial - are not included with Ubuntu. But this is no problem.
A quick trip to the synaptic package manager to install the msttcorefonts package rectified that.
Here is the before shot (the body should be Arial):
And here is the after:Subtle, I know, but it makes a noticeable difference on many sites.
